How Industrial & Commercial Dehumidifiers work

Our Industrial & Commercial Dehumidifier is a refrigerant type. The refrigerant
dehumidifier is the most common type in dehumidification industry. The main
principle is to lower air dew point in order to realize the dehumidification
result. It is perfect to perform especially in warm, humid conditions. The
performance is directly related to the difference between the air dry bulb
temperature and the air dew point temperature.
Industrial & Commercial Refrigerant Dehumidifier utilizes evaporator and condenser
to process the air. The moisture condensed, thus the humidity level decreased.
When the humid air passes into the evaporator, the inner temperature is lower than
the dew point temperature of humid air. This lead gaseous water in the air to
condensed and captured to the tray, and finally drains out through the pipes. The
processed air passes into the condenser, being heated and recover to the room
temperature. Then the dried air is released into the room back.
This system is similar to the air-conditioning circle. When the surrounding air is
dried, the dew point is lowed correspondingly. Consequently, the temperature
necessary to form condensation is lowed too. When the dew point relatively lowed
to a certain degree, the coil temperature needed to form condensation can easily
reach sub-zero. In this status, the dehumidifying efficiency will be reduced
sharply. At a certain temperature, the evaporator will start to freeze. So,
defrosting of the coil becomes a necessary process. Which part will make the
defrosting? The hot refrigerant gas from the compressor will pass into the
evaporator coil. During the defrost cycle, the dehumidifier process ceases to
remove water from the air.
The applied temperature of our Refrigerant dehumidifiers 5℃~38℃. If the ambient
temperature is relatively lower than the above, we recommend the absorption type
dehumidifier that is desiccant rotor dehumidifier.

conditions in different season into account.
