AAK Hydraulic Cartridge Counterbalance Valve Unique Optimized Design

Mason is from a hydraulic equipment company in India. It has been 3 years since
he purchased hydraulic cartridge valves from local hydraulic cartridge valve
manufacturers in India. At the beginning of this year, their company developed
a hydraulic crane and needed hydraulic cartridge counterbalance valves. They
chose a local hydraulic counterbalance valve manufacturer who has cooperated
for 5 years to make samples. During the equipment debugging, it was found that
the crane vibrated during the descending process and the descending speed was
abnormal. The after-sales servicer believed that the hydraulic cartridge

According to his system schematic diagram, hydraulic cartridge counterbalance
valve drawing and crane working video, AAK engineer had a basic idea. 3 days
later, AAK began to sample. After 40 days, AAK sent 6 hydraulic cartridge
counterbalance valve samples.

A month later, Mason emailed that after the new hydraulic cartridge
counterbalance valve designed by AAK was used, the hydraulic crane did not
shake during the load lowering process, and the speed was even. Their
colleagues were very confident in the promotion of the cranes, and the boss was
also happy.

AAK does not use the traditional route to optimize the hydraulic cartridge
counterbalance valve. According to the system diagram of the equipment and the
abnormality of the crane, the hydraulic cartridge counterbalance valve is
composed of valve body, valve seat, main valve spool, pilot valve spool and
pilot mechanism. First, connect the valve seat with the valve body to establish
a connected first channel. The extended end of the valve seat is connected with
the pilot mechanism to establish a second channel. The main valve spool adopts
sliding setting, and is equipped with throttling groove and orifice. Then the
valve seat cavity is divided into 3 cavities, one end of the valve spool is in
the inner cavity, and the other end is connected with the pilot mechanism. The
valve spool is flexible, controllable and free from load interference.

Last week, Mason told me privately that his boss decided to increase the
purchase of hydraulic cartridge valves from China and give him more authority.
