AAK Hydraulic Cartridge Pressure Control Valve Free of Impact Load

Balram is from a hydraulic equipment manufacturing company in Chile. The
purchase of 3 years has been smooth, but the recently purchased hydraulic
cartridge pressure control valve has upset him. The hydraulic cylinder supplied
by them was complained by a customer, the hydraulic shock caused serious
vibration of the pipe, which was easy to crack and leak oil. It is judged by
the after-sales that it was caused by the impact load of the hydraulic

valve? My reply: There are many reasons for the problem, which should be
analyzed in detail. According to the video of abnormal equipment sent by
Balram, as well as the production drawings of hydraulic cartridge pressure
control valves, AAK engineers judged that the structure should be optimized and
AAK is 90% confident to be successful. Balram saw the hope and asked AAK to
make samples. After 35 days, AAK sent 12 samples of hydraulic cartridge
pressure control valves.

Last week, Balram said that it had been 9 months since AAK hydraulic cartridge
pressure control valve was used on the hydraulic cylinder, and the pipeline was
free of vibration and cracking. The customer was very satisfied with this
after-sales service. His boss has decided to replace all the hydraulic
cartridge pressure control valves on this batch of hydraulic cylinders with AAK
ones, so AAK can prepare materials in advance.

According to the schematic diagram provided by Balram, AAK optimized the
original structure of the hydraulic cartridge pressure control valve. It can
realize small opening throttle back pressure, and meet large opening oil return
to reduce pressure impact. It can effectively reduce the peak value of
pulsating pressure impact generated by high-frequency commutation, avoid
pipeline vibration impact damage, and reduce the impact load on the connection
between the vibration table and the hydraulic cylinder. AAK made below 3
changes:

1. A cavity with a stop is formed between the upper part and the lower part of
the valve body, and the upper end of the valve spool in the cavity is against
the positioning nut.

2. A sliding block is arranged in the middle of the valve spool, a stop is
arranged at the lower part, a pressure regulating spring is arranged below the
stop, and the pressure regulating spring is fixed on the spring seat.

3. The spring seat is pressed on the plug, with an adjusting bolt in the
middle. One side of the lower part of the valve body is provided with a radial
oil inlet hole and an axial control hole connected with it. The other side is
provided with a radial oil return hole, a damping hole and an axial oil return
hole connected with both holes. The axial control hole is connected with the
upper oil hole on the shoulder of the upper valve body.
