API 5L GR.B LSAW Steel Pipe

API 5L GR.B LSAW steel pipe is widely applied in oil, natural gas, steel
structure, power plant, ship building, foundation and piling projects.
API 5L grade B steel pipe generally refers to Seamless and welded line pipes
used for the transportation of oil and gas from one location to another. These
pipes are mainly used in industries such as oil and gas refineries,
petrochemical plants.
These pipes are manufactured at two product specification levels known as PSL-1
and PSL-2.
PSL-1 provides a standard quality level for line pipes. However, PSL-2 pipes
have additional requirements for chemical composition, mechanical properties,
notch toughness, and additional NDT requirements.

API 5L Grade B steel pipe is resistant to cracking under sulphide stress, which
makes it ideal for sour service.
