Barbed Wire

Barbed wire is made from low carbon steel wire, formed into double-strand Iowa
type with four-point barbs. The first number in the gauge specification refers
to the line wire, the second number refers to the barb wire. Common
combinations are 12# x 12#, 12# x 14#, 14# x 14#, 14# x 16#, and 16# x 16#

Barbed Wire is used for boundary protection, livestock fencing, railway
fencing, highway fencing, plantation fencing, and general security use. It is
made from galvanized steel wire or PVC coated iron wire, with sharp barbs
twisted at regular spacing along the strand. Galvanized barbed fencing wire is
commonly selected for farm, grassland, and perimeter projects. PVC coated wire
is suitable when color matching or added surface protection is required. Common
colors include green, blue, yellow, and other requested colors. Barbs can be
spaced at 3″, 4″, 5″, or 6″ according to fencing requirements.

example, 12 x 12 BWG is about 6.0617 m/kg at 3″ spacing and 7.6376 m/kg at 6″
spacing. 14 x 14 BWG is about 10.4569 m/kg at 3″ spacing and 13.1752 m/kg at
6″ spacing.

Packing: Supplied in coils. Coil weight and packing method can be arranged
