“Blooming Plumage” is not an imitation of nature, but a reconstruction of
life's vitality. Formally, it borrows the spatial scale and visual tension of
Western decorative art, employing high saturation and realistic techniques to
create a powerful central focal point. Spiritually, however, it is deeply rooted
in Eastern philosophical thought, integrating the ‘metaphysical’ concept of
nature into the “physical” order of composition. A crimson parrot perches upon
a blossoming branch, its serene, contemplative posture evoking a symbolic
guardian of the soul. Layers of blooming peonies unfold, embodying the force of
growth while subtly echoing Eastern aesthetics of ritual and tranquility.
