A naturally occurring phenolic acid compound in plants, it is an antioxidant
that inhibits the synthesis of leukotrienes (leukotrienes are involved in the
regulation of immunity, inflammation and allergies), and inhibits Cu2+-induced
Oxidation of LDL.
Antioxidant natural dietary phenolic compounds found in plants. Inhibit the
synthesis of leukotrienes involved in immune regulation, inflammation and
allergies. It can also inhibit Cu2+-induced LDL oxidation.
