Crimped Wire Mesh

Crimped wire mesh is woven from pre-crimped carbon steel, galvanized steel, or
stainless steel wire. The crimped intersections hold the wires in position and
help maintain the specified opening under screening conditions. It is mainly
supplied for screening stone, gravel, aggregate, coal, and other bulk
materials. Lighter specifications are also used for machine guards, workshop
partitions, and ventilation panels.

stainless steel wire. The crimped intersections hold the wires in position and
help maintain the specified opening. It is mainly supplied for screening stone,
coal, aggregate and other bulk materials. Lighter specifications are also used
for machine guards and industrial partitions. Buyers should specify the clear
aperture and wire diameter in millimetres. This avoids confusion between SWG,
BWG and other wire-gauge systems.

purchasing parameters. These items should appear individually on the order
sheet.

For direct food contact, stainless steel grade, surface condition and
applicable food-contact requirements must be confirmed. Carbon steel and
galvanized mesh should not be presented as food-grade material.
