Curcumin 99% is a yellow pigment obtained from the root of turmeric. It is a
natural compound with excellent anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties.
It is the most important curcuminoid substance, accounting for about 70% of
curcuminoid, about 3% ~ 6% of curcuminoid. It is often sold as turmeric extract
supplement, cosmetic ingredient, food flavoring and food coloring.
It contained in turmeric has the effect of inhibiting hepatitis, repairing
damaged liver cells, and improving liver parenchymal damage. Curcumin extract,
volatile oil, gangrene, borneol, and sesquiterpenol are all beneficial to the
gallbladder, which can increase the formation and secretion of bile and promote
gallbladder contraction, among which curcumin has the strongest effect.
