DL-Mandelic acid

In the pharmaceutical industry, it can be used as intermediates for cefoxizole,
vasodilator cyclic mandelate, eye drops hydroxybenzazole, pemoline, etc. It can
also be used as a preservative.
Mandelic acid is used as a preservative (urine). It has also been used as a
short-term exposure biomarker in the urine of styrene-exposed workers.
Used as a special reagent of zirconium for pharmaceutical raw materials,
intermediates, dye intermediates, etc., for copper determination, organic
synthesis, and fungicides.
