Drill Pipe Thread Protector

Drill Pipe Protectors (DPP) are reinforced molded rubber pads that fit around
the outside diameter of the drill pipe to provide a one-time downhole wear
surface between the inside diameter of the casing and the drill string. DPP
protects the casing ID from wear caused by the drill string. The most common
applications are deviated wells, deep holes, fast rotation, high torque and
offshore applications.
