What is an SORF Flange?
SORF stands for Slip-On Raised Face.

Slip-On: The flange is designed to slide over the end of the pipe. Once in
place, it is fillet-welded both inside and outside to provide sufficient
strength and prevent leakage.
Raised Face (RF): This refers to the gasket surface, which is elevated above
the bolting circle face. This design concentrates more pressure on a smaller
gasket area, creating a tighter, more efficient seal.
