Friction Modifier

Friction modifiers and mild anti-wear agents are special ingredients added to
lubricants to help reduce surface contact—like sliding or rolling—that
happens in certain types of mechanical designs. They’re also known as boundary
lubrication additives.

Our fat-derived substances form a lipophilic film during lubrication, making
them ideal for:

Rolling and drawing of copper, aluminum, low-carbon steel, and stainless steel

Stretching and stamping of copper and aluminum

Our friction modifiers also help improve fuel economy and contribute to
reducing CO₂ emissions.
