FT wax used for EVA-based hot melt adhesive

Fischer-Tropsch wax is a commonly used performance modifier in hot melt
adhesives, especially for EVA-based hot melt adhesives. It can enhance heat
resistance, accelerate curing speed, reduce viscosity, and facilitate
application. Its main functions are attributed to its high melting point,
high hardness, and narrow melting range. ‌‌
Setting and curing time: The melting point and crystallinity of wax directly
control the initial setting temperature and curing time of hot melt adhesive,
affecting the plasticity and tensile properties of the adhesive.
Reduce viscosity and facilitate mixing: Fischer-Tropsch wax has low
viscosity, which can reduce the viscosity of polymers and resins, making
resin mixing more uniform and easier for pumping and transportation.
