GH3536 Nickel Alloy Rod Corrosion Heat Resistant for Chemical Industry

GH3536 high temperature alloy rod is a high-performance nickel-based superalloy
primarily strengthened by the solid solution of chromium and molybdenum. This
alloy, with a density of approximately 8.3 g/cm³, exhibits outstanding
mechanical, physical, and chemical properties, making it an ideal choice for
applications requiring superior heat and corrosion resistance, particularly in
the chemical industry.

Key Features of GH3536 Rod
High-Performance Nickel-Based Superalloy: GH3536 rod is composed of nickel,
iron, and chromium, providing superior strength and durability. The addition of
molybdenum enhances its resistance to corrosion and oxidation, making it ideal
for harsh industrial environments.

Excellent Mechanical Properties: The tensile strength at room temperature
exceeds 915 MPa, with a yield strength above 584 MPa. These high mechanical
properties allow the alloy to withstand considerable stress and load, making it
ideal for heavy-duty applications.

Thermal Stability: The melting temperature of GH3536 ranges from 1260 to 1355
°C, ensuring stability in high-temperature environments. Its thermal
conductivity at 100 °C is approximately 13.38 W/(m·°C), while its specific
heat capacity is 372.6 J/(kg·°C).

Outstanding Corrosion and Oxidation Resistance: GH3536 rod performs well in
environments with temperatures ranging from 600 to 1200 °C, offering excellent
resistance to oxidation and corrosion, particularly in chemical and
petrochemical environments.

Good Processability: GH3536 rod exhibits excellent formability, both in cold
and hot working conditions, and can be welded using various processes such as
TIG welding, plasma arc welding, and manual arc welding, making it easy to work
with in fabrication and construction.

Applications of GH3536 Rod
Due to its superior properties, GH3536 rod is widely used in industries that
demand high performance under extreme conditions. Common applications include:

Chemical Industry: GH3536 is extensively used in the chemical industry for
manufacturing components such as heat exchangers, reactor vessels, and piping
systems, where resistance to high temperatures and corrosive environments is
critical.

Petrochemical Industry: In petrochemical processing, this alloy is used for
producing components exposed to extreme heat and aggressive chemical
environments, such as furnace tubes, distillation columns, and reformers.

Power Generation: GH3536 rod is used in power plants, particularly in boiler
components and steam turbines, where high temperature stability and mechanical
strength are essential for long-term performance.

Aerospace: The alloy is used in high-performance aerospace components such as
engine parts and exhaust systems, where both heat resistance and mechanical
strength are vital for safe and efficient operations.

Marine and Offshore Applications: Due to its excellent resistance to corrosion
and oxidation, GH3536 rod is used in marine equipment, including valves, pumps,
and fittings, where exposure to seawater and other corrosive environments is
common.
