Application Areas:

▶ Applicable to the Preparation for flavors and fragrances

The main components in the D-xylose and L-arabinose Syrup are D-xylose, L-
arabinose and glucose etc. All of these are 5-carbo sugar; therefore, D-xylose
and L-arabinose Syrup can be used in Maillard Reaction together with the Amino
acid successfully. According to Healtang's research data, it shows that when
adding D-xylose and L-arabinose Syrup into the Maillard Reaction, the reaction
speed will be enhanced 40%. The product quality (appearance & smell &
fragrance) will be much better than using other syrup.

▶ Applicable to be used in Fried & Barbecue products

1. Adding D-xylose and L-arabinose Syrup during the frying of the products can
increase the golden color and also increase the flavors;
