above the recrystallization temperature of stainless steel. This process makes
the steel easier to shape and form into large sheets or coils, suitable for
various applications that require strength, durability, and corrosion
resistance.
Hot Rolled No.2E Surface 201J1 Stainless Steel Coils refer to a specific type
of stainless steel coil made from 201J1 stainless steel with a No.2E surface
finish.
201J1 is a type of austenitic stainless steel, part of the 200 series. This
alloy is low-cost due to the reduced nickel content, which makes it a popular
alternative to the 304 grade for certain applications.
It contains higher amounts of manganese and nitrogen compared to 304,
maintaining adequate corrosion resistance and strength for less demanding
environments.

The No.2E surface finish is a hot-rolled, mechanically descaled finish that has
been roughened by pickling or blasting. This finish provides a dull, rough
