Hydraulic pressure control valve is normal, AAK changes oil circuit design

Lucas is from a Canadian hydraulic equipment company. He found AAK hydraulic
valves online last September. His first inquiry was the hydraulic pilot-
operated pressure control valve. After 3 rounds of email communication, he
placed a trial order for 20 pcs of hydraulic pilot-operated pressure control
valves. I received the order so smoothly, but I didn't expect that AAK would
almost take the blame for others in the first cooperation.

At the beginning of last month, Lucas informed by email that there were
problems with all 20 hydraulic pilot-operated pressure control valves provided
by AAK. When the equipment was installed and debugged, the hydraulic system
went on strike. This is the first time I have encountered such a complaint. AAK
will do various tests on each hydraulic pilot-operated pressure control valve
before leaving the factory, and deliver it only after it is qualified. I asked
the engineer and the workshop to verify. It was proved that the programming and

completely consistent with the drawings provided by Lucas, so I can ensure that

qualified.

Our engineers speculate that there may be a problem with the oil circuit design
of the valve block system, but Lucas engineers believe that AAK is shirking the
responsibility. So I suggest Lucas try the hydraulic pilot-operated pressure
control valves of other manufacturers to debug. If the hydraulic system is
still abnormal, our guess is right. Two weeks later, Lucas frankly told us that
there should be a problem with the oil circuit design and asked us what good
methods we had?

The next day, Lucas sent us the video of equipment commissioning. Indeed,
during the operation of the equipment, the speed increases when the cylinder of
the hydraulic system is lowered, which is equivalent to the increase of flow,
and the original set pressure of the hydraulic pilot-operated pressure control
valve will also increase, resulting in the instability of system pressure.
Therefore, it is inferred that the instability of pressure is caused by the
thin oil passage of the hydraulic valve block in the system. We suggest that he
send us the schematic diagram of the hydraulic system. After analysis, AAK
engineers believe that the oil circuit design cannot match the working
conditions of the equipment.

AAK plans to design and process a new hydraulic valve block, and then installs
the AAK hydraulic pilot-operated pressure control valves to debug the
equipment. If it is not successful, AAK will not charge any fee for the
hydraulic valve block. A month later, AAK sent out the newly designed hydraulic
valve block. Lucas sent an email 3 days after receiving AAK hydraulic valve
block. He informed that after installing the AAK designed hydraulic valve block
and the hydraulic pilot-operated pressure control valves, the hydraulic system
was normal and the equipment operated smoothly. Their engineers also admire AAK
professional analysis ability and problem-oriented ability to design and
production.

The failure of a hydraulic valve is not a point problem, but a system.
Everything should start from the principle. The average working experience of
AAK engineer team is 11 years. Among the hydraulic valve peers in Ningbo, it
may not be possible to find the third hydraulic valve manufacturer as such.

Lucas privately told us that his boss suggested that in the future, not only
the hydraulic pilot-operated pressure control valves should be purchased from
AAK, but also the hydraulic manifolds, because AAK specialty conquered his
boss.
