Product Description
Water-based paint/coating is given priority to with colophony, or oil, or
emulsion, add some corresponding assistants, with organic dissolvent or water
make up and become sticky liquid. Water based paint or coatings with good
performance also have excellent operating performance, good covering power,
strong adhesion of the film, good water retention and other characteristics;
Cellulose ether is the most suitable raw material to provide these properties.

The Role Of Hydroxyethyl Cellulose In Paints & Coatings:
Increases paint color compatibility
Pigments are one of the main components of paints or coatings, but different
pigments may have different compatibilities. Adding SLEO products can improve
the dispersibility of pigments and enhance the compatibility between pigments
and paints, ensuring the quality and stability of the coatings.
Improves sag resistance
Paints or coatings applied on vertical surfaces are prone to sagging. Adding
SLEO products can increase the viscosity and consistency of paints, reducing
their flowability and improving their sag resistance, making them easier to
control during application.
Enhances workability and prevents spattering
SLEO products can moderate the viscosity of paints or coatings, making them
easier to apply. Moreover, due to the increased thickness of the coating, the
risk of spattering can be reduced, making the application process safer.
