KL-188 Sodium Ion Concentration Meter

Model KL-188 Sodium Ion Concentration Meter is designed to measure sodium ion
(Na⁺) content in aqueous solutions. It is especially suitable for quality
monitoring of high-purity water in power plants, such as steam, condensed water
and boiler feed water, and can also be applied to furnace water, natural water
and other water samples.
The KL-188 sodium ion concentration meter consists of a fully integrated
circuit high-impedance millivoltmeter (hereinafter referred to as the electric
meter) and a PNa combination electrode. When the PNa electrode is immersed in
the test solution, a specific electric potential is generated in the solution,
which depends on the activity of sodium ions. After this potential signal is
input to the millivoltmeter, the PNa value can be read directly on the display,
and the corresponding sodium ion concentration can be checked from the attached
scale table.
