Lip Bricks
Quartz lip brick is a refractory material specially used in specific parts of high-temperature industrial equipment (such as the "lips" of furnace mouths and kiln mouths). It is mainly made of high-purity quartz sand (SiO2 content ≥ 90%) through high-temperature sintering or melting, and may contain a small amount of mineralizer to enhance performance. Advantage 1. High temperature resistance: The melting point is as high as 1700°C, which is suitable for extremely high temperature environments. 2. Thermal shock resistance: Low thermal expansion coefficient, tolerance to sudden temperature changes, and reduced risk of cracking. 3. Corrosion resistance: Strong resistance to acidic slag and gas erosion, but alkaline environment should be avoided. 4. High mechanical strength: Wear-resistant and impact-resistant, suitable for parts susceptible to mechanical stress. Application Fields 1. Glass industry: used in key parts such as melting furnace feeding port and liquid flow hole to withstand the erosion of glass liquid. 2. Metallurgical industry: furnace door, steel outlet and other high temperature and vulnerable areas. 3. Ceramics and chemical industry: kiln mouth and high temperature reaction vessel lining.
