Magnesium chloride
Magnesium chloride is a chloride with the chemical formula MgCl2. It is a
colorless and deliquescent crystal.These salts are usually ionic halides and
are highly soluble in water.Magnesium chloride hydrate can usually be extracted
from brine or seawater with 6 molecules of crystal water. But when heated to 95
° C, it loses crystal water. Above 135 ° C, it will decompose and release
hydrogen chloride gas. Its industrial raw materials are used to produce
magnesium. Found in seawater and saltwater. Magnesium chloride hydrate is a
commonly used substance in oral magnesium supplements
