Metering dosing pump
metering pump, also known as a dosing pump or proportional pump, is a volumetric pump capable of precise flow control through stroke or frequency adjustment. It is primarily used in industries such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and water treatment for the quantitative dosing of corrosive media or chemical additives. Its core function is to deliver liquid flow independently of pressure, with a metering accuracy of up to ±1%. The pump consists of a motor, transmission box, and cylinder body, driving the plunger's reciprocating motion via a worm gear mechanism. Adjusting the stroke length enables 0-100% stepless flow regulation. It is classified into plunger-type, mechanical diaphragm-type, and hydraulic diaphragm-type designs, with the diaphragm-type offering complete leak-proof functionality. It supports variable frequency control, automatic signal input (e.g., 4-20mA), and multi-pump linkage to meet mixing ratio requirements. Typical parameters include flow rates of 0.1-20,000 L/h, maximum pressure up to 64 MPa, and a medium temperature range of -30°C to 450°C. Pump head materials include PVC, stainless steel, PVDF, and others
