Microcrystalline wax for casting

Main applications of microcrystalline wax in casting:
‌As a component of wax patterns: Microcrystalline wax is commonly used in the
formulation of precision casting wax compounds. It is blended in specific
proportions with paraffin, resins, natural waxes and other materials to
enhance the flexibility, resistance to deformation, surface finish and
dimensional stability of the wax patterns.
Suitable for high-precision castings: Widely used in fields with high demands
for surface quality and dimensional accuracy, such as aeroengine blades,
medical devices, automotive components and jewellery.
Improved demoulding performance: Microcrystalline wax’s low-temperature
plasticity and high-temperature stability facilitate the precise forming of
wax patterns within complex moulds and help maintain their shape during the
pouring process.
Reduced post-processing: Castings produced using microcrystalline wax have a
smooth, fine surface finish and typically require no additional polishing.
