Microcrystalline wax used for rubber additive

Microcrystalline wax has a wide range of industrial applications, primarily
serving as a grease thickener and a paraffin modifier, while also being
extensively used in the rubber, personal care, packaging, electronics, and
food industries.‌‌
‌Grease Thickener‌: Microcrystalline wax is a key thickening agent in the
manufacture of lubricants for instruments and seals, as well as petroleum
jelly. Leveraging its high gel strength, excellent adhesion, and protective
properties, it is used to adjust the consistency and performance of
lubricants.
Rubber Industry: This is a major application area for microcrystalline wax,
where it is primarily used as a rubber protective wax, serving as a “long-
lasting protective barrier” in products such as tires and rubber seals.
