Microcrystalline wax with good stability used in candle making

In candle manufacturing, microcrystalline wax primarily serves as a high-
performance modifying additive used to enhance the properties of ordinary
waxes.
Reduces shrinkage and prevents candle release from the container: This is one
of microcrystalline wax’s most important functions, and it is particularly
crucial for container candles. With its low shrinkage rate, adding it to the
molten wax effectively reduces shrinkage after cooling, allowing the candle
to fit snugly against the walls of the glass container and preventing gaps or
the candle from falling out.
Increases Viscosity and Toughness: Microcrystalline wax increases the
viscosity and toughness of the wax, making the candle less prone to cracking
or shattering. This property is particularly well-suited for crafting
sculpted or hand-molded candles and also facilitates the adhesion of
decorative elements.
