Micronized wax used as lubricant in rubber processing

In rubber processing, micro-powdered wax is primarily used as a processing
aid and surface modifier. When added to rubber compounds, it significantly
improves processing performance and ultimately enhances the service
performance and surface quality of rubber products.
Improved Processing Performance: As an effective internal and external
lubricant, it significantly reduces frictional resistance during the mixing,
calendering, and extrusion processes, thereby minimizing equipment wear and
improving mixing uniformity and extrusion rates.
Enhanced Product Abrasion Resistance: Wax microparticles disperse uniformly
within the rubber, acting as “micro-bearings” that lower the surface
friction coefficient of the finished product, significantly improving the
abrasion and scratch resistance of rubber products.
