Our semi-coke plant's production line typically includes the following steps:
raw material preparation, carbonization, activation, and post-treatment.
Raw Material Preparation
In the raw material preparation stage, coal with high volatile matter, low ash
content, and low sulfur is usually selected. This coal undergoes processes such
as crushing, screening, and mixing.
Carbonization
The carbonization process involves subjecting the raw coal to high-temperature
heating to induce pyrolysis reactions, generating solid semi-coke and volatile
substances.
Activation
The activation process involves reacting the surface carbon atoms of the semi-
coke with gases such as high-temperature steam or carbon dioxide to create
microporous structures. This increases the specific surface area and adsorption
capacity of the semi-coke.
Post-treatment
Post-treatment includes cooling, screening, and packaging to ensure product
quality and facilitate transportation and storage.
