Nitrocellulose
Nitrocellulose (NC), the full name of nitrocellulose, is an organic compound containing nitrogen produced by the nitration reaction of cellulose and nitric acid. Because of the unstable nitro ester group (-ONO₂) in the molecular structure, it has special properties such as flammability, explosiveness, and solubility, and is widely used in military, industrial, and civilian fields, but also accompanied by high safety risks.
