Oclacitinib Maleate
Appearance
This product is a light brown or brown, cross-scored tablet.
Dosage and Administration
Calculated as oclacitinib. Oral administration: For dogs, 0.4 ～ 0.6 mg per 1
kg of body weight, twice a day for 14 consecutive days, and then once a day for
maintenance therapy.
Oclacitinib is a synthetic intracellular non-receptor tyrosine kinase (Janus
kinase, JAK for short) inhibitor. It inhibits the function of a variety of
pruritogenic cytokines and pro-inflammatory cytokines, as well as cytokines
involved in allergy that are dependent on JAK1 or JAK3 enzyme activity. It has
little effect on cytokines involved in hematopoiesis that are dependent on
JAK2.
