The core technology centers on our advanced hot aluminum dross processing machine
(DPM), which employs mechanical stirring and separation without fuel, flux, or
chemical additives.
The process begins with skimming hot dross (typically at 700–800°C) from the
furnace into a dross trolley.
The material is then transferred to the dross processing unit, where automated
mechanical agitation—lasting 10–12 minutes—liberates entrapped molten aluminum
from the oxide matrix and impurities.
This yields high-purity recovered aluminum ingots or sows directly on-site,
significantly reducing oxidation losses compared to traditional cooling and manual
methods.
Post-processing, the residual dross (black dross or salt cake) is rapidly cooled
using our specialized dross cooling machine, which lowers temperature to ambient
levels in a short cycle, preventing secondary oxidation and facilitating safe
downstream handling.
The cooled dross undergoes further treatment via ball mill and sieving systems,
enabling classification into different grades for secondary recovery or
valorization, such as extraction of residual aluminum fines or non-metallic
residues for industrial reuse.
This turnkey solution emphasizes automation, short processing cycles, low energy
consumption, dust minimization, and pollution control, replacing labor-intensive
traditional approaches.
