Perimeter Fencing Chain Link Mesh Gates

Fencing gate is made of chain link mesh wire infilling fabric, framed with
round section tubes and fixed with rollers. The fabric materials are either
galvanised or polyester powder color coated meshes.

Types: Walk-in gates, single swing gates, double swing gate, cantilever chain
link gates without roller, or with roller.

1, Fence panel specification and construction

a. Fence
PVC coated chain link fencing wire of 2.50/3.55mm diameter, mesh size 50x50mm,
height of fence 1.80 metre, and green in colour.
b. Line Wire
Three (3) rows of PVC coated line wire made out of 3.00/4.00mm diameter, which
is strained between strainer posts.
c. Stirrup Wire
PVC coated wire made out of 2.20/3.20mm diameter to secure line wire with all
fencing posts.
d. Tie Wire
PVC coated wire made out of 1.80/2.60mm diameter to secure fence fabric to line
wire at every 300mm centres.
e. Barbed Wire
Three (3) rows of PVC Coated Barbed Wire 1.80/2.60mm diametre, two ply and four
points, with barbs at every 100mm centres.

2, Fence Gate

Specification and Construction of Double Leaf Swing Chain Link Gate

The Gate shall be a double leaf swing gate; 6 metres wide and 1.8 metres high
and comply with the below specification.

a. Type: The Gate shall be a double leaf swing gate.
b. Size: The Gate shall be 6.00 metres wide x 1.80 metres high.
c. Frame: The Frame shall be manufactured from 60mm OD (3.2 mm thick) MS pipe.
d. Brace: The Brace shall be manufactured from 48 mm OD (3.2 mm thick) MS pipe.
e. Locking Arrangements /Latch
To comply with standards of practice of manufacture. A detailed proposal
shall be submitted together with this cost proposal for the architect’s
approval.
f. Gate Posts
Gate Posts shall be manufactured from 166mm OD (4.85mm thick) MS pipe,
total height to be 1.80 metres above ground +0.80 metres encased in concrete.
g. Infill
Infill shall be PVC coated chain link fence wire 2.50/3.55mm diameter, mesh
size 50 x 50mm and green in colour.
h. Barbed Wire
Three (3) rows of PVC coated Barbed wire 1.80/2.60 mm diameter, two ply,
and four points with barbs at every 100mm centres.
i. Stretcher Bar
Stretcher Bars shall be manufactured from 25 x 5mm thick MS flat bar.
j. Finishing
All metals shall be hot dip galvanized to BS 1461 and polyester powder
coated in the green colour.
