Polyester Forming Fabrics

Product Description
The polyester forming fabrics are mainly made of polyester monofilament,
divided into single-layer, 1.5-layer, double-layer,2.5-layer, and 3 -3-layer.
It is a forming fabric, an important piece of equipment on a papermaking
machine and is a device for forming.

Types of Polyester Forming Fabrics
Our polyester forming fabrics are divided into several types, depending on
the weaving structure and application:
4-shed and 5-shed single-layer fabrics – Standard papermaking forming
fabrics, suitable for cultural paper, printing paper, packing paper, and
newsprint. Compatible with common Fourdrinier paper machines.
8-shed single-layer fabric – Designed for packaging grades requiring high
strength such as kraft paper, cardboard, and corrugated paper.
8-shed double-layer fabric – Used in printing papers (dictionary paper,
offset printing paper, newsprint), as well as tissue paper and board paper pulp
layers. Suitable for medium and high-speed paper machines.
16-shed 2.5-layer fabric – Provides excellent sheet formation, widely applied
in cigarette paper, aluminum foil backing paper, coated paper, and toilet
tissue production.
Triple-layer SSB forming fabric – Advanced design with separate forming and
wear sides. Large yarns on the wear side improve stability and durability,
while fine yarns on the sheet side enhance fiber retention, drainage, and
paper quality.
Multi-shed three-layer SSB forming fabrics – For high-speed papermaking
machines producing high-grade printing paper, wrapping paper, and tissue paper.
