Introduction to Monel 400 Sheets
Monel 400 sheets are highly sought after in marine and industrial

Material Overview
Monel 400 (UNS N04400) is a solid-solution alloy primarily composed of
nickel and copper, with trace amounts of iron, manganese, carbon, and
silicon. This composition grants it excellent resistance to various forms of
corrosion, including pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion
cracking.

Chemical Composition:
Nickel (Ni): 63.0% minimum

Copper (Cu): 28.0-34.0%

Iron (Fe): 2.5% maximum

Manganese (Mn): 2.0% maximum

Silicon (Si): 0.5% maximum

Carbon (C): 0.3% maximum

Sulfur (S): 0.024% maximum
