Propionic acid is a colorless liquid, Used as organic reagent, esterification
agent and plasticizer, also used in the preparation of food spices;
preservative; mold inhibitor; spice. Used as viscous substance inhibitor for
beer, etc.; used as feed mold inhibitor. Propionic acid is an important
chemical raw material, also a pharmaceutical intermediate, and can be used as a
food industry preservative, green feed preservative and so on. Propionic acid
is an important fine chemical and an intermediate of many other fine chemicals.
It is mainly used as food and feed additives, and secondly used in home
remedies and medicines, spices and so on. Used in the preparation of propionate
esters for spices, and used as nitrocellulose solvents and plasticizers, etc..
