PTFE sieves, also known as test sieves, mesh sieves, and solid waste sampling
sieves, are tools for particle size classification and detection. They are
corrosion-resistant, have low background, and can be customized in mesh size.
They are commonly used for screening solid particles, removing impurities from
marine microplastics, and filtering and cleaning samples. They can be fitted with
PTFE sieve bases and covers. A 10-mesh sieve is used for air-dried soil samples.
For trace element analysis, samples need to be ground to 0.15mm, while a 100-mesh
