PYRIDOXINE

Pyridoxine is also known as vitamin B6 or anti-pellagra vitamin, its
scientific name is 2-methyl-3-hydroxy-4,5-dihydroxymethyl pyridine, and its
common name is pyridoxine hydrochloride. It is usually prepared with its
hydrochloride salt, white Or light yellow crystalline powder, melting point
204-206°C (decomposition). Soluble in water, ethanol and acetone, slightly
soluble in ether. It has a sour and bitter taste, stable in the air, changes
in quality when exposed to sunlight, and is easy to sublimate. The effect of
ferric chloride is reddish brown.
It is a vitamin itself and can be used as a food additive. It can also be used
as an intermediate for pyrithione hydrochloride. Purpose

care products for facial oil control. It can also be used in hair care
