These screens are fabricated by attaching V-shaped profile wire to an array
of support rods and welding each intersection of wire and rod. That forms an
extremely robust screen with continuous slot openings of very close
tolerance.

Center Pipes (Inner Screens): Essential for radial flow reactors, these
cylindrical screens form the inner boundary of your catalyst bed. They are
expertly designed to ensure uniform collection or distribution of flow from
or to the center, preventing channeling and maximizing catalyst contact.

Scallops (Outer Screens): Forming the outer boundary in radial flow systems,
scallops run parallel to the vessel wall. They guarantee even flow
distribution or collection along the periphery, eliminating wall effects and
ensuring the entire catalyst bed is effectively utilized.

Header and Lateral Systems: Whether for collectors or distributors, these
systems (using either a central header pipe or hub connected to multiple
screen laterals) are the gold standard for achieving uniform flow across the
entire vessel diameter in downflow or upflow reactors. They combat channeling
and ineffective bed usage, maximizing process efficiency and yield.
