There are various grades of API 5L PSL2 steel and each grade has its own sets of hardness, properties, tensile strength and yield strength. Various grades of API 5L PSL2 steel are used in different atmospheres, depending upon diverse factors such as climatically conditions, pressure and temperature. The main grades of API 5L PSL2 steel are: API 5L grade B, X42, X46, X52, X56, X60, X65, X70, X80, X90, X100, X120. The main delivery conditions of API 5L PSL2 steel are: R - as rolled, which means the delivery condition without any special rolling and/or heat treatment. EN10025-4 steel grade S460M plate is weldable fine grain structure steel and its thickness is no more than 120mm. S460M steel is composed of the following parts: symbol letter S: structural steel, 460 is min. yield strength value less than 16 mm thickness, M represents delivery condition. The specified impact test temperature for S460M plate is not lower than -20℃. The main difference between EN10025-4 steel grade S460M plate and S460ML steel plate is their impact test temperature and energy.
