Thermal Putty Keeps Automotive Electronics Running Cooler

GLPOLY XK-G40 Thermal Putty Applying To Radar Thermal Management of Auto Pilot Instead of Laird Tputty 508.

XK-G40 Thermal putty had been launched for years but few of engineers wanted to use it because comparing with traditional paste materials, it was a new material. but now, it’s getting more and more attraction from engineers. Taking Laird Tputty 508 as benchmark, GLPOLY XK-G40 thermal putty provides a thermal conductivity of 4.0W/mK, compatible with high volume, automated dispense process.

Two months later, customer contacted me, said:”performance of thermal gel XK-G40 is great, satisfying our design requirements, it could be alternative to Tputty 508. How about the price, as expensive as Tputty 508? ” I told him that GLPOLY thermal interface materials provided equivalent performance to world-class competitive products, but the price of XK-G40 is 30% lower than that of them. GLPOLY was introduced into customer’s BOM and applied in bulk production.
