Ashitaba or Angelica keiskei is original from japan , also called “Tomorrow’s
Leaf”. This herb is well known in Japan and they have done lots of great
studies showing it’s healing properties and have come to call it the
“Longevity Herb”.

1.Introduction :

Ashitaba is the oldest medicinal plant in Japan, but until the 1990s that the
actual benefits were discovered by scientists. It has two main physiologically
active flavonoid chalcones, namely 4-hydroxyderricin and xanthoangelolol. These
chalcones have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-angiogenic and anti-
diabetic properties by inducing cancer cell apoptosis. More and more people
know about the Ashitaba as a super food, because of the rich nutrient
