What is Turning-Milling Compound Processing
Turning-Milling Compound Processing, also known as turn-mill machining or simply
turn-milling, is a manufacturing process that integrates both turning and milling
operations into a single setup on a multitasking machine tool. In turn-mill
composite machining, a single machine tool can perform both rotational turning
(where the workpiece rotates while the cutting tool removes material) and linear
milling (where the cutting tool moves along a linear path to remove material).
