Siphon tank/bucket, also known as vacuum tank /bucket or water diversion tank,
utilizes the principle that the vacuum of a sealed container can generate suction
force.

When used in conjunction with a regular centrifugal pump, it can produce a self-
suction effect (equivalent to a self-suction pump), with a larger self-suction
height of about 4m.

Its advantages are easy assembly, easy maintenance of a single pump, stable self-
priming performance, and more cost-effective than self-priming pumps; The
disadvantage is that it occupies a large area.

Why choose a siphon tank/ bucket? self-suction/priming pump has a complex pump body
structure, relatively high production and installation costs, and a higher overall
pump price; The combination of a siphon tank/bucket and a regular centrifugal pump
can also achieve the effect of a self-priming pump, but the cost of the individual
unit is relatively low, and the maintenance of the pump body is also convenient.

If the pump is damaged, only the pump needs to be replaced, and the siphon bucket
can continue to be used.

In the one in use and one backup working condition, only the continuous siphon
bucket can be used, saving procurement costs.

Submerged pump is a conventional corrosion-resistant engineering plastic submerged
pump.

Due to manufacturing process limitations, its submerged depth does not exceed 2m
(the submerged pump is too long, unstable to operate, and has a short service
life).

It is not suitable for use in deep pool conditions; The self-suction height of the
siphon tank /bucket and ordinary centrifugal pump can reach 4m, with a wider
application range.
