Fiberglass Flanges

Fiberglass flanges are indispensable key connecting components in fiberglass
piping systems, used to connect and seal pipe sections to each other, and pipe
sections to valves, pumps, or other equipment.
There are two main types of fiberglass flanges, which differ in structure and
performance:
1. Integral Flange
Advantages:
Highest strength: Integral molding, good structural integrity, and strong load-
bearing capacity.
No leakage path: Avoids the bonding interface, resulting in extremely high
sealing reliability.
Good fatigue resistance: Better able to withstand vibration and pressure
fluctuations.
2. Adhesive Flange / Loose Flange
Manufacturing process: The flange is manufactured separately from the pipe, and
then a high-strength adhesive is used to bond the flange to the outer wall of
the pipe.
