FTU, DTU, RTU Feeder Measurement and Control Terminal

FTU, DTU, RTU series feeder measurement and control terminal (FTU) is based on
the advanced experience of Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom and
other foreign developed countries, widely drawing opinions from domestic power
system experts, combined with the actual application needs of users of the
State Grid and several provinces of the Southern Power Grid. Using the new
generation of feeder line measurement and control terminal developed by ADI
high-performance 32-bit industrial DSP chip, the product performance reaches
the highest level in the country. It has unique advantages in stability,
flexible scalability, multiple fault identification, a variety of communication
interfaces and technology integration, and power management.
 
Range of Suitability
 
FTU, DTU, RTU distribution network automatic feeder terminal is an intelligent
terminal designed for the intelligent distribution network, widely used in the
distribution network ring cabinet (DTU), open and close office (DTU), switch
station (DTU), post switch (FTU), remote terminal equipment (RTU) and other
places. It mainly completes the local monitoring, control and fault detection
functions of the HV switchgear, and can be used as a communication relay and
regional control center. The DAF-800 feeder measurement and control device can
be combined with the distribution network automation master station (SCADA) or
sub-station system to realize the acquisition and control of multiple circuits.
Through the analysis and judgment of the line data, the fault detection and
fault location can be realized, so that the fault area can be quickly isolated
and the non-fault area can be restored to power supply, and the power supply
reliability can be effectively improved. According to the application of
different occasions, the device can be divided into: feeder terminal unit
FTU(DAF-810), station terminal unit DTU(DAF-820/830 or multiple units),
distribution terminal unit TTU(DAF-810).
 
FTU, DTU, RTU feeder measurement and control protection terminal can be
connected with various types of domestic and imported ring cabinets, reclosers,
circuit breakers, load switches; It can be used with various AC operating
circuits such as AC380V/220V/100V, DC220V/24V DC operating circuit, motor
spring energy storage mechanism, permanent magnet operating mechanism, etc.
 
Hardware Fundamentals
 
The main chip of FTU, DTU and RTU feeder measurement and control terminal
adopts the 32-bit high-performance industrial DSP(digital signal processing)
chip of ADI, which has a processing speed of 800MIPS and strong digital signal
processing capability. The co-processor adopts the ultra-low power
microprocessor of T company. The chip is a 16-bit single-chip microcomputer
with a large number of on-chip peripherals and strong control and processing
capability. Two processor chips communicate through high-speed synchronous
serial interface (SPI) and cooperate with each other to complete the functions
of the device.
 
The hardware of the device extends the latest large capacity ferroelectric
memory (FRAM) of RAMTRON company in the United States, which has the
characteristics of non-volatile, fast storage speed and large capacity, and is
used to store important data such as set parameters, fault recording data and
historical event records. The device is equipped with hardware clock circuit,
using RAMTRON company's special clock chip, high precision and good stability,
and can accept the communication time command.
