GBW Chemical centrifugal pump for H2SO4

GBW concentrated sulfuric acid pipeline centrifugal pump is designed and made on
the basis of ISW horizontal pipeline centrifugal pump for the conveying of
concentrated sulfuric acid. GBW centrifugal pump uses the special cast iron and
carbon steel materials for concentrated sulfuric acid and excellent hydraulic
model.

GBW concentrated sulfuric acid pipeline centrifugal pump is an ideal new generation
of chemical pump. The pump shaft seal is made of high-quality mechanical seal with
external mounting type, and the dynamic ring and static rings are made of new hard
alloy or ceramics, which are wear-resistant, leak-free and have a long service
life. It is widely used in the transportation of concentrated sulfuric acid medium
in various chemical enterprises.

GBW type concentrated sulfuric acid centrifugal pump special steel used for
sulfuric acid with consistency 80 to 100% and temperature up to 60 or 80℃. The
special steel in this concentration and temperature range of sulfuric acid, the
surface can produce a protective layer of iron sulfate film. Cast iron is not
suitable for more than 100% fuming sulfuric acid, which may be due to the reaction
of sulfur trioxide with the silicon contained in iron, resulting in the
embrittlement of cast iron. Carbon steel is not suitable for 100 to 102% fuming
sulfuric acid, more than 102% acid is applicable, the temperature limit is about
60℃. Dilute sulfuric acid has a great corrosion on steel, when the acid
concentration is about 47%, the corrosion rate reaches the highest value. When the
acid concentration is greater than 65%, the corrosion rate of steel is
significantly reduced. So in the 65 to 80 percent range, lead or or other dilute
acid resistant materials are used instead of steel material for the safe operation.

Sulfuric acid concentration: 80% to 98% special cast iron, service temperature:
25℃ to 50℃

Sulfuric acid concentration: 80% to 98% special carbon steel ,service temperature:
25℃ to 60℃.
