High Damping Rubber Bearing(HDR)

High Damping Rubber Bearings (HDRB) are advanced seismic isolation devices
designed to protect bridges, high-rise buildings, and critical infrastructure
from earthquake damage. These bearings are constructed from alternating layers
of natural or neoprene rubber and steel reinforcement plates, providing high
vertical load capacity and exceptional horizontal flexibility. Their unique
damping properties allow effective energy dissipation by converting seismic
energy into heat, reducing structural acceleration and extending the vibration
period during earthquakes. High Damping Rubber Bearings are widely used in
highway bridges, railway systems, and industrial buildings due to their
excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and maintenance-free performance.
Available in both round and rectangular shapes, standard sizes typically range
from 200 mm × 300 mm to 600 mm × 600 mm, with thicknesses from 50 mm to 200
mm, and custom dimensions can be manufactured upon request.
