PF3041 Open Phenolic Resin
Phenol-formaldehyde resin (PF) is a polymer made by polycondensation of phenolic compounds and aldehyde compounds. It is one of the three major synthetic thermosetting resins. Performance characteristics Good high temperature performance: The cured phenolic resin has excellent heat resistance due to its aromatic ring structure and high crosslinking density. Generally, at 200°C, the heat resistance of phenolic resin is good. After long-term use at 180°C, it can still maintain its structural integrity and dimensional stability. High residual carbon rate: When it exceeds 300°C, phenolic resin will decompose and gradually carbonize to form residues, and its residual amount is as high as 60%. At a temperature of 800-2500°C, phenolic resin will generate a layer of carbonized material on the surface of the material.
