Other combinations are also available.

Round Baler PTO Shaft Maintenance
The PTO shaft needs to be greased regularly to prevent universal joint from
failing, and also to prevent the shaft from sizing. If you do not maintain
your shaft's grease regularly or as specified in the PTO maintenance
schedule of the shaft can result in the end thrust damaging the gearbox in
the implement. It is recommended that you grease regular universal joints
every 20 hours , or every 8 hours in extreme situations. Remember! grease
follows the simplest route through internal ports, eventually reaching those
four cross bearings. A high temperature or poor quality grease that is baked
in one port can block grease from getting to the bearing, leading to failure
of the individual cross bearings. Make sure you completely remove the guard
cover to ensure that grease flows across the entire cross bearing. Greasing
the small access hole isn't good enough. Check the condition of the PTO
safety guards. If they're damaged or are in poor condition , replace them to
ensure the safety of the driver.

Round Baler PTO Shaft Length Requirements
PTO shaft PTO shaft acts as the mechanism which supplies the power to your
device. Therefore, it is crucial to be aware of how it functions to ensure
the safety of users. It is also essential that you are aware of the
maintenance specifications to avoid any mechanical issues. PTO shafts come
with a rating and are not always interchangeable with round balers or
implements. It is therefore essential to match the correct shaft on the
appropriate implement in accordance with the specifications of the
manufacturer and also to ensure that it's the right length.

Long: The length of the PTO shaft is determined by setting up an implement
in an open baler round in the beginning. If you want to reduce the length of
PTO shaft is required , the operator should use the supplier's method to
reduce the shaft to the proper length. This is usually accomplished by
measuring the output shaft of the round baler and then transferring the
input shaft of the place it the point at which the PTO shaft is at its
narrowest.
Too long When your shaft for PTO is excessively long (or are the Telescopic
tubes jammed) "end thrust" could occur, which could cause damage to the
internal PTO drive, clutch for implements or gearbox, possibly invalidating
your warranty on the machine.
Too short: If the shaft is too long, it may possibly split from the
implement, causing significant safety concerns and possibly injury.
PTO Shaft for Agricultural Gearbox
Agricultural equipment includes various PTO shafts. Each shaft is connected
via two yokes and is able to rotate between the 540 and 1000 rpm. Safety
Universal PTO shield is typically placed on both sides of a shaft for PTO to
safeguard the operator. They are also present in tractors as well as
agricultural equipment, which ensures maximal effectiveness. Internal yokes
can also provide additional security.
