Application fields of PW type horizontal sewage discharge pump
1、 Municipal sewage treatment and upgrading
Small and medium-sized sewage pump station: When the pump station adopts a dry pump
room (with the motor and pump body installed dry on the ground), the PW pump is
used to lift the grid filtered sewage to the subsequent treatment unit. Its
horizontal structure is convenient for maintaining the impeller and seal, without
the need for overall lifting.
Rainwater pumping station drainage: pumping out mixed leaves, sediment, and surface
runoff debris in rainwater. PW pumps can pass solid particles with appropriate
diameters (such as 2.5-inch impellers that can accommodate 35-50mm particles) and
are not easily clogged.
2、 Industrial wastewater treatment system
Factory workshop wastewater: applicable to wastewater containing impurities such as
short fibers, broken skin, blood clots, and fruit peels discharged from industries
such as printing and dyeing, papermaking, leather, slaughtering, and food
processing. The pump body and impeller can be made of cast iron or corrosion-
resistant material (304/316 stainless steel).
Neutralization sedimentation tank effluent from chemical and pharmaceutical
factories: Extract wastewater containing suspended solids and chemical sludge, and
send it to a filter press or concentration tank.
The turbid circulating water system in the steel and mining industries:
transporting circulating water or sewage containing iron oxide scale, coal powder,
sand and gravel.
3、 Construction sites and temporary drainage
Excavation dewatering: Extracting underground seepage, rainwater, and water
containing mud and sand. PW pumps can work continuously and have better resistance
to sediment wear than ordinary water pumps.
Tunnel construction drainage: When there is no risk of flooding inside the tunnel
but it is necessary to pump the water from the tunnel area outside, a ground
mounted PW pump can be used.
Temporary sewage discharge: such as connecting temporary pipelines as mobile sewage
equipment during the renovation of old pumping stations.
4、 Agricultural Irrigation and Aquaculture
Drainage in flood prone areas: Remove the accumulated water in farmland and extract
muddy water containing a small amount of weeds and soil.
Fish pond and shrimp pond water exchange and discharge: the polluted water
containing residual bait and feces at the bottom of the pond is treated on the
shore. Please note that the PW pump is not submersible and needs to draw water from
the pool shore (it can be equipped with a bottom valve or vacuum water intake
device).
5、 Other occasions
Integrated equipment for car wash and sewage treatment: as a ground supporting
sewage pump.
Coal yard and coal washing plant: transport coal slurry water and sedimentation
tank wastewater.
PW and PWF horizontal sewage discharge pumps are single-stage, single-suction,
cantilever centrifugal sewage pumps. The pump suction inlet is axially horizontal,
while the discharge outlet can be configured horizontally or vertically as needed.
The main components include the pump cover, pump casing, impeller, shaft seal,
shaft, and support frame. The shaft seal adopts a novel double mechanical seal
structure. The pump and motor are mounted on a common base, with the motor directly
driving the pump via an elastic coupling. This pump features high efficiency,
significant energy savings, smooth operation, reliable performance, and convenient
maintenance
The impeller contains only two curved blades, resulting in a spacious flow channel
that can pass through general suspended particles.
There are four auxiliary blades on the back of the impeller to balance the axial
thrust, and the impeller undergoes static balancing tests during manufacturing.

long fiber substances, and domestic wastewater. The pump body is made of high-
quality cast iron material, and the medium temperature does not exceed 100 ℃.
2. The PWF type horizontal sewage pump can transport sewage with acidic, alkaline
or other corrosive properties, and is widely used in industries such as chemical,
petroleum, light industry, food, pharmaceutical, brewing, environmental protection
and sewage treatment. The pump body and overcurrent components are made of 304
stainless steel material, and the medium temperature is not higher than 100 ℃.
